In your WP admin area, go to Settings and set the following.

WordPress Address (URL)
The directory into wich you actually installed WP
https://www.mywebsite.com/mywpinstalldirectory

Site Address
The URL where your website's home page is
https://www.mywebsite.com/
 

In your control panel's file manager
you can adjust permissions of files and directories if need be.
Your files should have 644
and your directories 755
unless otherwise specified by the respective software developer.
